CRUSH

The rupturing of a crush. the sparkling desperation. what bubbles up while pinning? how can it be so intoxicatingly sweet and so addictive. you've got me shaking.

CRUSH is a dance video created by Nina Vroemen and danced by Carly Woolner. The choreography is inspired by the double-or triple-entendre of the word "crush" culminating in the inevitable eruption of when something so sweet becomes utterly intoxicating. The painfully sweet beverage rolls along the body, shaking it to the point of complete irruption.

This dance video was created for a call-out for submission for Montreal's nuite blanche at Studio 303, for choreography with the theme "rupture".

The choice in using the pop bottle as an object to creatively form choreography with non-humans culminate in an irruption (or rupture) as both the dancer and bottle lose control of their state.
